#1 Smart Audio Burner Editor's Review

Smart Audio Burner is a simple, but very well purpose oriented software. It is designed to help you convert your music collection stored on your hard drive into audio CDs. Of course you can also burn .'cda' tracks on disks (CDs) using this small application.

Using the program is very simple. You have to add tracks to your project to be burned on a disk. Tracks can be added by drag-and-drop using the folder tree on the upper left half of the program window. An alternative for adding files is the 'Add Files' button on the menu. The program supports: MP3, compressed and uncompressed WAV, WMA and OGG file types. A capacity indicator will warn you in case the added files have exceeded disk capacity. After adding the files, all you have to do is push the 'Burn' button, and the job is done.

Pluses: The tracks can be listened using the inbuilt player. The burner allows you to erase rewritable disks and has the option of enabling 'burn-proof' CD creation.

Drawbacks / flaws: It would have been nice if it had supported some more audio file types.

In conclusion: A simple, yet very good audio CD creation software.
